Surfing The Nations
Surfing the Nations (STN) is a global, non-profit humanitarian organization that blends action sports, community living, and hands-on outreach to invite young adults into a life of faith, purpose, and adventure outside traditional church models.
For STN, I led the website redesign and digital brand execution—shaping a bold, surf- and skate-inspired visual system with clear navigation, strong calls to action, and location-specific storytelling. The work focused on translating their “Live Outside the Box” culture into a modern, maintainable site that drives applications, engagement, and global connection while staying true to their adventurous identity.

The goal was to create a digital experience that captures Surfing the Nations’ bold, adventurous spirit while remaining clear, intuitive, and purpose-driven. Every design decision—from visual identity to site structure—was made to build trust, communicate mission quickly, and guide users toward meaningful next steps like applying, giving, or getting involved.
Beyond aesthetics, the site was built for long-term scalability, performance, and ease of use, giving STN a flexible platform that can grow with their global network while delivering a consistent, engaging experience across all locations and devices.
Result
Since launch, Surfing the Nations has gained a clearer, more unified digital presence that better supports their mission and global reach. The new site has improved navigation and user flow, making it easier for visitors to understand STN, explore programs, and take action—whether applying, donating, or connecting with a team.
Beyond surface-level improvements, the project gave STN a scalable, maintainable system that empowers staff across locations to stay aligned and up to date. The refreshed platform brings clarity to their message, consistency to their brand, and confidence in how they show up online as they continue to grow worldwide.
